The Canon imagePROGRAF iPF8400SE produces 2400 x 1200 dpi resolution and prints A1 plain paper in as little as 34 seconds. Canon LUCIA EX pigment inks work brilliantly on a wide range of paper types, giving durable, cost-effective solutions for mid to long term display. The iPF8400SE features 256BM Buffer RAM for more efficient printing of complex jobs, making it easier to handle larger amounts of data, store larger print jobs, and reprint them easily without resending from a PC. Gigabit Ethernet connectivity allows data to be transferred fast – even when managing high print volumes or data heavy files. Fast Economy Mode printing saves time and ink for those cost sensitive jobs. Cloud support allows uploading and downloading files for immediate sharing with other locations or multiple sites with easy access even from mobile devices.
The Canon imagePROGRAF iPF8400SE features user-friendly design, making it easy to run. The front loading media system includes simple roll paper loading with media barcode printing, automatically detecting media size and confirming the media type and how much is left on a roll. Easy to change ink tanks, located at the front of the iPF8400SE are replaceable without having to stop printing. Custom media and sizes can be pre-loaded into the printer and the drivers. Borderless printing means no need for offline trimming, saving time and money and Automatic Skew Correction allows for unattended printing by automatically adjusting for any skew in orientation and fees the paper/media correctly. A thoughtfully designed fan system ensures the quietest of operation. The media catch basket has three settings for convenience.
In addition to the easy access to sophisticated functions on the LCD panel, keep track of printing costs with Canon’s built-in cost management software, the Status Monitor, calculating print costs and tracking ROI. The accounting functionality calculates pages printed and the associated costs, customisable, enabling the monitoring of printing costs while also helping understand and manage paper use. Additionally, enter the IP address of your iPF8400SE into any web browser, tablet or smart phone, and view vital information including current ink and media levels, error codes, and print logs live on your screen. Administrator settings can be managed here as well.
