The HP Latex Cutter works as one with the HP Latex 335 Printer, delivering reliable, efficient job recognition and error-free cutting using the Optical Positioning System (OPOS) and HP Barcode. Print and cut in five simple steps, by adding cut lines from the RIP, predefining cutting presets with the easy user interface.

The HP Latex 335 Print and Cut Solution features an accessible print zone with large windows and lights. The HP Latex 335 Print and Cut Solution includes the HP media basket for convenience. HP Latex inks scratch resistance is comparable to hard-solvent inks on SAV and PVC banner, which means you can consider unlaminated for short-term signage. HP Latex inks have outdoor durability of up to 5 years when laminated, and 3 years when unlaminated.

The HP Latex 335 Printer features HP 831 Latex Printheads which provide 1200 dpi native resolution, producing smooth transitions and fine detail. User-replaceable, HP Latex printheads feature 1200 nozzles per inch with HP’s automatic drop detection and nozzle replacement, reducing maintenance and ensuring colour consistency. Print panels or tiles with excellent colour consistency for an edge-to-edge match. Keep day-one image quality by replacing the printheads yourself in a few minutes, without a service call.

The HP Latex 335 Printer works with HP 831 Latex ink cartridges which are available in 775 ml. Additionally, the HP Latex 335 uses HP Latex Optimizer, which interacts with HP Latex Inks to rapidly immobilize pigments on the surface of the print and achieves high image quality at high productivity. HP Latex 335 features HP Quick Substrate Profiling, a simplified colour management library available directly from the front panel using the 4-inch touchscreen or online. HP Quick Substrate Profiling includes a full set of on-board generic and specific HP substrate profiles and access to an online substrate profile library of over 250 custom profiles and the ability to fine tune, edit, clone and remove profiles.

The HP Latex 335 Printer includes an automatic cutter, which cuts efficiently and delivers jobs immediately with the automatic X-axis cutter, which can be used on vinyl, paper-based media, and backlit polyester film.

HP Latex Technology delivers all the certifications that matter to your operators, your business and the environment. Using water-based inks eliminates exposure to inks with hazard warning labels and high solvent concentrations, and simplifies ventilation, storage and transportation requirements. SPECIFICATIONS

The HP Latex 335 Print and Cut Solution produces up to 1200 x 1200 dpi resolution with HP double swath technology and has a maximum print speed of 50m²/hr. Indoor quality prints as 13m²/hr and outdoor quality prints at 17m²/hr. The HP Latex 335 Printer’s suggested monthly volume printing is less than 250m²/month. The HP Latex 335 Print and Cut Solution features front-media loading capabilities and accepts a media roll of up to a maximum roll weight of 42 kg and a media thickness of up to19.7 mil. The HP Latex 335 Print and Cut Solution features new HP Optical Media Advance Sensor (OMAS) which delivers precise and accurate motion control of media advance between print swaths. The HP Latex 315 Print and Cut Solution can be unplugged without damage to the printhead.

The HP Latex Cutter includes a drag-knife with Turbo-Cut and Tangential emulation modes. The cut width is 158 cm (62.2 inch) and the cut thickness is 0.05 to 0.25mm (0.002 to 0.01 inch). An optional sandblast blade increases the cut thickness up to 0.8mm (0.03 inch). The cut speeds are up to 113 cm/sec (44 in/sec) diagonal and up to 3 G diagonal acceleration.

The HP Latex 335 Print and Cut Solution includes the HP 64-inch Take Up Reel, a productivity booster for unattended printing. The 64-inch single spindles handle up to 42 kg (92.6 lb.) and multiple spindles are available for quick ready to load multiple media versatility and convenience.

Free software available for the HP Latex 335 Print and Cut Solution includes HP Latex Mobile app, which allows you to stay connected with HP Latex 315 when you’re away, HP Signage Suite and HP WallArt Suite, which allow you to bring your ideas to life. HP Wall Art is free, cloud-based software designed to use with HP Latex Printers. Voted in 2013, the “Best Special Application Solution” by the European Digital Press Awards. HP Latex proprietary technology provides innovation in versatility, flexibility and durability, driving the transformation of the industry and expanding applications to the interior decoration market. Introduced in 2009 as a result of over ten years of research, development, and investment, thousands of HP Latex Ink systems are now employed worldwide and have printed more than 35 million square meters. HP Latex offers the versatility to cover applications including retail and outdoor advertising, event and exhibition graphics, vehicle graphics and interior decoration. The water-based formulation of HP Latex Inks meets high environmental standards that improve the work environment and meet customers’ environmental objectives for indoor displays and wall coverings.

HP Latex proprietary technology makes it possible to obtain high quality at production speeds at no extra cost compared to solvent printing technology. Versatility of media, including coated and uncoated substrates deliver odourless prints and do not require ventilation, moving the industry to healthier printing. The smooth, flexible ink layer is ideal for stretching and framing canvases. User replaceable printheads maintain image quality over the life of the printer. Scalable printhead technology enables a range of products with speeds ideal for low to medium volume printing. Delivery times are shortened; prints come out completely dry, and can be laminated immediately. Maintenance is reduced with HP water-based Latex Inks, which do not require daily manual cleaning and printers can be turned off overnight, on weekends, or longer. The HP Latex 300 Series printers are third generation technology.

HP Latex Ink Cartridges feature built-in electronic intelligence that communicates ink colour, remaining ink quantity and other information for the printer. HP Latex Inks are water-based inks that combine the best characteristics of solvent inks and water-based inks. Water give HP Latex inks the high surface tension, low viscosity and energetic vapour bubble that are ideal for use in thermal HP inkjet printheads. Composed of more than 60% water, HP Latex Inks offer important benefits to commercial and industrial production environments – water produces no VOCs (volatile organic compounds), requires no special handling, and is non-toxic, non-flammable and non-combustible. Humectants, wetting agents and additives are used to obtain required performance characteristics for an ink.

The HP Latex 335 Printer features a print zone, located on the printer platen under the scanning carriage. Here heaters evaporate some of the water, allowing the concentrated humectants and wetting agents to soften the surface of uncoated vinyl for better adhesion of the colourant layer. Remaining liquids in the ink film are evaporated by curing zone dryers to produce a completely dry and odourless print that can be immediately handled, stored, shipped or displayed indoors. The HP Optimizer interacts with HP Latex Inks to rapidly immobilize pigments on the surface of the print and achieve high image quality at high productivity.

Environmental Certifications and Eco Labels Overview:

Since 1992, HP focuses on specific environment impacts through its Design for Environment (DfE) program. DfE is an engineering perspective where the environmentally related characteristics of a product, process, or facility are optimized. EL ECOLOGO Certification to UL 2801 demonstrates that HP Latex Inks meet a range of stringent criteria related to human health and environmental conditions. UL GREENGUARD GOLD Certification to UL 2818 means HP Latex products are certified to GREENGUARD standards for low chemical emissions into indoor air during product usage. HP Wall Art printed on HP PVC-free wall paper and other prints on HP PVC-free wall paper printed with HP Latex Inks meet AgBB criteria for health-related evaluation of VOC (volatile organic compounds) emissions of indoor building product. Rated A+ per Emissions dans l’air interieur refers to the level of emission of volatile substances in indoor air posing health risks if inhaled. Eco Mark Certification Number 14142007 is for the HP 831 Latex Ink Cartridges, certified by the Eco mark Office of Japan Environment Association. Energy Star qualified means the HP Latex 115 Print and Cut Solution meets strict energy efficiency guidelines without sacrificing performance and are EPEAT registered. Additionally, other certifications for some medias/textiles include EN22 standards for wash ability and colourfastness and Euro Class Standard Class B4 for flame retardant and CE Mark Type II (ASTMF793) compliant for durability characteristics.
