KEY FEATURES
The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3300 is a 36-inch printer-only model. It’s aimed higher than the TM Series: Canon positions the TX range for the ‘high-productivity demands of construction, design and manufacturing operations’ – larger AEC&M organisations, corporate and government departments, and print service providers.
The TX-3300 uses the 5-colour LUCIA TD pigment ink system with a newly formulated Matte Black ink for denser blacks and sharper fine lines, built on Canon’s PF-06 FINE print head for output up to 2400 x 1200 dpi.
Hot-swap ink tanks let you change ink mid-job without interrupting a print run, and the Smart Roll Paper Set automatically detects paper type and remaining length as you load it.
Borderless printing is available via Canon’s Micro Margin Technology, printing custom widths from 6″ up to the full 36″ roll width – useful for full-bleed posters and signage as well as technical drawings.
Security features include PIN-code printing, encrypted communications and secure hard drive erasure, alongside automatic colour calibration and print head monitoring to keep output consistent across multiple machines.

Print speed: up to 3.3 D-size prints per minute (Canon’s own figure, Fast Q5 mode, plain paper – D-size/ANSI D is close to but not identical to ISO A1).
Memory: 128GB virtual / 2GB physical memory, plus a 256GB encrypted hard drive.
Roll/cut sheet width: 6″ – 36″ (152mm – 917mm).
Borderless printing: Micro Margin Technology, 6″ – 36″ custom widths.
Optional accessories: Multifunction Roll System RU-34 (dual-roll/roll-switching); new face-down stacking basket (Canon states expected availability Q4 2026, so may not ship with early UK stock).
Security: PIN code printing, encrypted communications, secure HDD erasure.
Software: free Direct Print Plus with PDF preview, plus the standard imagePROGRAF software suite.

MANUFACTURER INFORMATION
The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3300 is part of Canon’s newly refreshed TX Series, announced globally on 15 September 2026 and launching across EMEA (including the UK) from November 2026, succeeding the TX-3200.
The TX Series carries over the PF-06 FINE print head, 2400 x 1200 dpi resolution and LUCIA TD pigment ink chemistry from the outgoing generation, with a newly formulated high-density matte black ink. Canon positions the TX range above the TM Series – for larger AEC&M organisations, corporate and government departments, and print service providers with high-productivity requirements.
As with all imagePROGRAF printers, Canon covers the TX-3300 and its print head with a 12-month warranty.
