KEY FEATURES

The Canon imagePROGRAF TM-515 is the top-of-range 24-inch model in Canon’s new TM Series – a UK/EMEA and Asia-market model (Canon’s own internal name is TM-5515) that is not sold in the US.

Like the rest of the new TM Series, the TM-515 uses the 5-colour LUCIA TD pigment ink system with a newly formulated Matte Black ink for denser blacks and sharper fine lines and text, built around Canon’s PF-06 FINE print head for output up to 2400 x 1200 dpi.

As the range-topping 24-inch model, the TM-515 is expected to carry the same larger onboard storage as its 36-inch sibling the TM-615 (128GB virtual / 2GB physical memory plus a 256GB hard drive) – useful for larger CAD files and busier queues, though this should be confirmed against Canon’s official TM-515 datasheet once published.

Automatic media detection, built-in colour calibration and a compact, front-accessible design keep day-to-day running straightforward.

SPECIFICATIONS

Ink system: 5-colour LUCIA TD all-pigment ink (Matte Black, Black, Cyan, Magenta, Yellow), newly formulated matte black. Starter tanks: 130ml (MBK) / 90ml (BK, C, M, Y).

Print head: PF-06 (FINE technology), 5,120 nozzles (MBK) / 2,560 nozzles per colour, 5pl droplet size.

Max resolution: 2400 x 1200 dpi.

Memory: expected 128GB virtual / 2GB physical, plus a 256GB hard drive, by parity with the TM-615 – unconfirmed for this specific model, please verify before quoting.

Roll width: 8″ – 24″ (203.2mm – 610mm).

Connectivity/software: Direct Print Plus, PosterArtist, Free Layout Plus, Accounting Manager, Device Management Console and Media Configuration Tool included free. Apple AirPrint and Mopria Print Service supported.

Sustainability: ENERGY STAR certified, EPEAT 1.0 Gold registered, recycled steel and resin content in the chassis, EPS-foam-free packaging.
