The Canon imagePROGRAF TC-20M is a stylish, compact desktop device with a footprint of 968 x 545 x 395 mm. The printer can easily sit on a desk or shelf.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TC-20M is easy to operate: ink refills, paper loading and maintenance are all accessible from the front. The easily recyclable ink bottles (new black, cyan, magenta and yellow pigment inks) contain 70ml of ink, reducing the refill frequency and total cost of ownership. The built-in large capacity ink tanks are easily accessible from the front side of the printer, and can be refilled without dirtying hands or clothing. The shaft-less roll holder makes roll paper loading effortless, and reduces the amount of space needed for the printer.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TC-20M includes a built-in auto sheet feeder, delivering continuous printing between roll paper and cut sheets (A4 x 100 sheets or A3 x 50 sheets).

The Canon imagePROGRAF TC-20M includes Direct Print Plus, and integrated software for hybrid support so switching between office and home printing is easy. Multiple files in different formats can be input at a time with not need to launch applications for each file. Files can be printed directly with the flexibility to print A3 size drawings for checking, either at home or at the office.

The Canon imagPROGRAF TC-20M delivers comparable crisp lines to higher end models. The pigment ink has excellent water resistance, meaning drawings and prints are easier to handle outside and less likely to smudge when using a highlighter.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TC-20M has an EPEAT Gold rating, with reduced packaging and low energy consumption, helping users meet sustainability goals. The approximate energy consumption when in operation is 28W, and in the standby mode, 1.8W or less.

Optional items available for the Canon imagePROGRAF TC-20M include an A1 Basket for receiving A1 prints and a Printer Stand. Additionally, PosterArtist software is a free app available via the Web and is ideal for easily making vivid posters, with an abundance of editable templates for posters and flyers.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TC-20M large format A1 printer and A4 Scanner uses a number of advanced Canon proprietary technologies. Bi-directional printing design of the imagePROGAF printers means print times are significantly faster than conventional print systems which require multiple passes for each line to compensate for uneven droplet size and placement on the paper. An innovative ink-nozzle manufacturing method results in precisely uniform minimum 5 picolitre droplets resulting in 2400 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi) resolution.

Canon’s innovative 4 colour pigment ink system incorporates new black, cyan, magenta and yellow pigment ink. Canon pigment ink systems have an innovative polymer structure that result in exceptional scratch resistance and protection from colour fading, while reducing bronzing to ensure durable, stable output.

Canon’s new processing engine and printer architecture deliver further accuracy to ink ejection and limitation of colour unevenness. The new L-COA (Large Format printer Common Architecture) PRO image processing technology instantly determines optimal droplet combinations to deliver best results that are faithful to the original image. L-COA PRO delivers faster, high-quality output and print optimization by carefully calculating best results for each print mode and media using various factors including colour reproduction, tonal gradations, black density, graininess, glossiness, anti-bronzing and elimination of metamerism, all of which contribute to creating an amazing printed image.
