An intuitive 15.6-inch colour touchscreen provides swift access to key scan functions, while a compact chassis and Wi-Fi connectivity ensure supreme convenience. Additional printer dual roll feeding and easy loading optimise workflow. Boost productivity with trailblazing scanning and printing speeds, made possible by the Colortrac SingleSensor scanner, innovative 5-colour print head, sequence optimisation and continuous printing mode. The TX-3000 MFP T36 scans at 6-inch-per-sec and prints up to approximately 2.6 ppm for A1 landscape on plain paper. Easy roll loading requires placing the media roll on the arm and the printer automatically feeds and adjusts the paper, ready to print. Dual roll feeding means two different media rolls, or two different sizes can be loaded, improving convenience and productivity and enabling seamless switching between the two rolls, weather printing drawings or posters. The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3000 MFP T36 is versatile and adaptable to many printing environments. Featuring direct printing from USB memory, PDF and JPEG files can be quickly and easily printed without the use of a PC or computer. Security features such as desk encryption and restricted use of protocol helps reduce leaks of confidential data. Manage printing costs more easily with the built-in Accounting Manager which collects job logs and automatically calculates costs per job or time period and can be set up for multiple printers. An economy mode can be selected which uses less ink: ideal when printing draft documents. The TX Series printers feature less electricity consumption, reducing the effects on the environment and saving energy.

SPECIFICATIONS

Designed for practicality and usability, the Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3000 MFP T36 is designed to fit comfortably in any CAD/GIS environment. A compact, slim-line design with a front-loading paper system, front access ink tank system, and front output means you can print and change paper and ink easily even when printer is installed in a tight space or flush against a wall. A large, bright, menu-driven LCD control panel gives easy access to sophisticated functions.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3000 MFP T36 features a 36″/914mm Colortrac SingleSensor scanner with a flat paper path that scans documents from 6″/15cm up to 38″/965mm wide, with a maximum scan length of 8m for JPEG and PDF files and 15.2m for TIFF files. Documents are placed face up, and documents up to 2.0mm can be scanned with an optical resolution of up to 1200 dpi. The Scanner scans at 13 inches per second for 8-bit grayscale and monochrome @200 dpi or 6 inches per second for 24-bit colour @200 dpi. The Scanner includes SmartWorks software, compatible with Windows 8/10 (32/64 bit).

The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3000 MFP T36 delivers 2400 x 1200 dpi resolution prints and produces A0 draft prints in just 37 seconds. Ink tanks are available in 700ml, 330ml and 160ml sizes, supporting high volume continuous printing, reducing the frequency of ink replacement, reducing the cost per millilitre of ink, and reducing total cost of ownership. Hot Swap ink tanks allow ink cartridges to be replaced during printing for maximum productivity. The internal encrypted hard disk drive in the imagePROGRAF TX-3000 MFP T36 has been increased to 500GB and with 128GB standard memory and 2GB of physical memory, no print job is too complex.

Printer driver flexibility for the Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3000 MFP T36 addresses the needs of a diverse range of users. Software included with the TX-3000 includes an imagePROGRAF TX-Series Printer Driver, Quick Utility Toolbox, Print Plug-in for Office, Extended Survey Program and PosterArtist Lite. A Universal Driver means printing to any network connected TX Series Printer. Other software is available to download from the Web. The TX-Series Printer driver supports HPGL/2, HP RTL, PDF, JPEG, SGRaster (Swift Graphic Raster) and more. The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-30006 MPF T 36″/A0 large format scan/print solution features the LUCIA TD 5-colour pigment ink system which produces the sharpest, thinnest lines. Designed specifically for CAD, GIS, and Poster applications, a minimum line width of 0.02mm can be achieved with a range accuracy of +/- 0.01%. The LUCIA TD Ink system features a newly formulated MBK, which features high surface tension, eliminating feathering and generating crisp, sharp lines. Drawings can be precisely reproduced even on uncoated papers. LUCIA TD inks also create weather resistant prints, enabling outdoor viewing and easy handling of drawings. Enhanced reactivity between the LUCIA TD pigments and media components means pigments stays close on the media surface, allowing colours to be vivid, even on plain paper.

The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3000 MFP T36 accepts roll and cut media with a thickness range of 0.07 to 0.8mm. The minimum print length is 203.2mm, and the maximum print length for roll paper is 18 meters, and cut sheet up to 1.6 meters. The maximum media roll diameter is 170mm. Borderless printing technology keep you more productive as there is no need for offline trimming and Auto Skew Correction enables unattended printing by automatically adjusting for any skew in orientation and feeds the paper/media correctly. The Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3000 MFP T36 includes a standard, multi-position basket which can hold a print in the standard position, and up to 20 A2 landscape sheets in the flat position.

Optional items for the Canon imagePROGRAF TX-3000 MFP T36 include an LCD option with or without a PC, and additional roll units and roll holders and a stacker for the TX-3000 Printer. Canon imagePROGRAF TX Series CAD, GIS, and Poster (5-colour) wide format scan/print solutions use a number of advanced Canon proprietary technologies to achieve fine lines, small text and highly detailed graphics produced with incredible accuracy and sharpness.

FINE (Full-photolithography Inkjet Nozzle Engineering) print-head technology for 5-colour imagePROGRAF TX Printers features a total of 15,360 nozzles into a new 1.07″ high density, 6 chip print head. There are 5,120 nozzles for MBK, and 2,560 nozzles for C, M, Y, and K. Bi-directional printing design of the imagePROGAF TX Printers means print times are significantly faster than conventional print systems which require multiple passes for each line to compensate for uneven droplet size and placement on the paper. An innovative ink-nozzle manufacturing method results in precisely uniform 5 picoliter droplets resulting in 2400 x 1200 dots per inch (dpi) and outstanding print performance. The non-firing nozzle detection and compensation system ensures excellent repeatable image quality for every print.

Canon’s CAD, GIS, and Poster (5-colour) range of imagePROGRAF TX Series Printers feature the LUCIA TD 5-colour pigment reactive ink system designed specifically for the CAD/GIS/poster making market featuring. LUCIA TD pigment inks are water resistant, enabling outdoor viewing and easy handling of drawings. The unique formulation of LUCIA TD inks enhances reactivity between pigment inks and media components. Pigments stay close on the media surface, allowing colours to be vivid, even on plain paper. LUCIA TD inks improve ink adhesion to the media and minimise colour bleeding. When black ink intersects with coloured ink (for example, words printed on a colour background) the black and cyan inks induce a chemical reaction that prevents black from bleeding into the colours. This means clearer text, smoother curves, and sharp fine lines even on uncoated technical papers. Using reactive inks also improves scratch and marker resistance so prints are far more durable than those printed with conventional dye inks.

The CAD, GIS, and Poster (5-colour) range of imagePROGRAF TX Printers utilise two types of black ink for the best possible results on all types of media. For photo-type a black ink (BK) is used and for high contrast prints on matte paper, a matte black (MBK) is used. This process ensures smooth graduations across every media type and is highly efficient as the relevant ink is automatically selected for each media type. The LUCIA TD MBK is a newly developed pigment ink with high surface tension, resulting in less feathering, and lines remain crisp and sharp.

Canon’s advanced L-COA PRO (Large Format Printer Common Architecture) image processor delivers faster high-quality output and print optimisation, even data-heavy HP-GL/2 files such as electrical CAD drawings with intricate lines can be processed quickly. L-COA PRO helps your printer carry out the most complex print jobs – where files can often exceed 200MB – with ease.

In addition, newly added disk encryption, protocol locking and secure data transmission makes the imagePROGAF TX Series devices some of the most robust on the market with measures such as SNMPV3 and IPSec support to prevent leaks and intrusions.
