Our new website: an easier way to find the right large format printer

If you’ve visited us recently, you’ll have noticed things look different. We’ve redesigned designsupply.co.uk from the homepage down, with one aim: to make it quicker and easier to find the right large format printer, ink or paper for what you print, and to get expert help when you want it. Here’s what’s new and how it helps you.

A clearer homepage

The new homepage gets you where you need to go in one click:

• Find large format printers, Find paper and Find ink buttons, right at the top
• Shortcuts to A1 and A0 large format printers, Canon ink offers and our paper and media finder
• Our best selling large format printers, with the saving on each one shown clearly
• Ink and paper bundles, so you can stock up and save in one go

Filter large format printers by what matters to you

Our large format printers pages now have simple filters down the side. Narrow the range by:

• Brand: HP, Canon, Epson, Mutoh and more
• Size: 17-inch (A2), 24-inch (A1), 36-inch (A0), 44-inch and wider
• What you print: CAD and plans, posters and graphics, photo and fine art, sign and outdoor, or scan, copy and print
• Price: from under £1,000 to over £5,000

Every product card now shows the key facts at a glance, including the size, the brand, the price and, where there is one, how much you save.

Savings and offers, up front

• Our large format printer offers page brings every current deal together, showing the was price and your saving.
• The new Canon ink offers page has a “Choose your printer” picker, so you only see the ink that fits your model.
• Our bundles and clearance offers are easier to find from the menu.

Find ink and printheads in seconds

Our ink and printheads finder has been rebuilt. Choose your brand and model, and you’ll see every ink and printhead that fits, with the saving shown and an Add to basket button. You can even copy the link to share or bookmark the results for your printer.

Need paper too? Our Which paper fits my large format printer? lookup shows the widest roll your printer takes and a paper to match.

Scanners, cutting plotters and plan chests

The same clearer layout now runs across our large format scanners, large format cutting plotters and A1 and A0 plan chests, so you can compare sizes and options side by side.

Expert help whenever you want it

Choosing a large format printer is a big decision, so we’ve made it easy to talk to us at every step:

• Ask for a price: where a price isn’t shown online, one click opens a short form and the sales team will come back to you.
• Send us your file: email a file to sales@designsupply.co.uk and we’ll show you how your image compares on a new model.
• Book an in-person demo: visit our Leatherhead studio to see the printers running and talk through colour management and your workflow.
• Get a recommendation: tell us what you print and we’ll suggest the right large format printer.
• Call us on 020 7842 1555, a number you’ll now find on every product.

Better on your phone

The new pages are built to work just as well on a phone or tablet. Products sit in rows you can swipe, buttons are easy to tap, and filters fold away until you need them.

The things that haven’t changed

Behind the new look, everything you rely on us for is the same: our Price Promise, 48-hour delivery anywhere in the UK, installation and training, trade in for your old large format printer, and a team accredited with HP, Canon and Epson.
