The three models most customers compare are the Canon TM-240, TM-250 and TM-255. They look very similar, but there are some important differences — especially when it comes to ink supplied, cartridge sizes and long-term running costs.

All three printers share the same core print engine and print quality.
So print quality is very similar across all three — the main differences are ink cartridge sizes, ink supplied and workflow features.
The Canon TM-240 is the entry level model in the range and is designed for lower print volumes.
The important thing to note is that the TM-240 only accepts the small ink cartridges, which means the cost per ml of ink is higher and you will replace cartridges more often.
