The large 21″ touchscreen provides simplified operation and ScanWizard and PrintWizard software are easy to use and provide 100 % integration of all scanner and printer features.

Inserting documents into the WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 Large Format Scanner is fast and easy. Documents go face-up,with a center feed and automatic document positioning and size detection eliminate the need for complicated settings. The durable, anti-static paper path is designed to allow the scanning of many different types of media without requiring any adjustments. Document skewing is virtually eliminated, even when scanning unlimited lengths to multipage PDFs.

The WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 features LED illumination and true 1200 x 600 dpi optical resolution, providing details of scanned documents not even visible to the human eye. The colour space of WideTEK CIS cameras are much wider than SRGB and WideTEK’s unique online ICC profiling eliminates the last remaining imperfections. The scan generated can be saved in many different formats, including JPEG or PDF, and sent directly to the Canon TM 300 Series printer. Alternatively, the WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 scans directly to USB, network, cloud, or mobile devices via Scan2PAD.

The WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 features a built-in closed loop colour calibration at no extra cost, generating the best possible copies for your selected printer and paper combination. ScanWizard provides 100% integration of all printer features: select media type, printing quality and more, and track ink levels all through one application.

In addition to fast scan speeds, even at high resolution, the WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 features proprietary Scan2Net technology, a 1GB fast Ethernet with TCP/IP based interface. SPECIFICATIONS

The WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 scanner is a true stand-alone device with the smallest footprint, OS independent, and runs with Windows 7, 8, 10, Linux and Mac. The inbuilt PC is a 64 bit Linux operating system with a real time processing kernel. The inbuilt PC features an Intel dual quad core, 1.8 – 3GHz processor, a built in graphics engine, x-Windows, 128GB SSD, and 8 Gigabyte RAM for very long scans. It features a failsafe file system, factory installed disaster recovery hard disk partition and is fully virus protected.

The WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 features the Scan2Net platform, running inside the scanner and replaces proprietary scanner drivers and software that traditional scanners require with the fastest common, non-proprietary connection available: TCP/IP over Ethernet. With network interface speeds much higher than USB or SCSI, Scan2Net devices are able to reach unrivaled performance at very low connectivity cost. The Linux based operation system is dedicated to scanner specific imaging and mechanical control tasks, further maximising scanning speeds and performance. Scan2Net is the built-in network interface with 1GB fast Ethernet with TCP/IP. Scan2Net makes connecting the WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 large format scanner easy. Simply connect power and an Ethernet cable directly to a PC or to your organisation’s network, assign a valid IP address to your WideTEK scanner, start your browser and the built-in ScanWizard, and scan. Scan2Net technology also enables remote maintenance, troubleshooting, and firmware updates via the web interface, as well as output to SMB, FTP, Printer, and email.

ScanWizard is an integrated scan application for use with any browser, including ID, Edge, Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. ScanWizard saves scans to Multipage PDF (PDF/A) & TIFF, JPEG, JPEG 2000, PNM, PNG, BMP, TIFF (Raw, G3, G4, LZW, JPEG) AutoCAD DWF, JBIG, DjVu, DICOM, PCX, PostScript, EPS, and raw data. Scans can also be directly output to the integrated USB port located on the front of the WideTEK 36CL-600 MF5. ScanWizard offers an extensive set of scanning tools and image treatment functions and is a Java script application which runs on any browser. With the same look and feel on all platforms, ScanWizard runs like a desktop program, and is simple to use. An intuitive menu leads the user quickly to the desired feature or function. Select document size, file format, image orientation, output mode, colour mode, press the start button and scan. If the settings are exactly what the user wanted, changes can be made on the fly without the need to rescan the document. ScanWizard display the scanned image on the 21″ Touch screen, and a built-in magnifier is available look closely at every detail of the scan. ScanWizard enables mixed batches of scanning and stores them in multipage PDF-A files or other formats. ScanWizard supports multiple users, multiple jobs and tasks and supports multiple languages.

PrintWizard converts every WideTEK scanner to a powerful multi function scan and print solution and is an extension to the ScanWizard. PrintWizard adds print and copy functionality including full control of all features of the attached printer, even paper properties of levels of available ink without having to physically access the printer.

ScanWizard and PrintWizard each have five predefined scanner and printer templates for ease of use, and new customised templates can be added. The copy button is freely configurable and allows a single button copy function, using any one of the templates, simplifying the task of making copies of a large set of documents.

Scan2Pad, which enables scanning to be controlled and operated using an iPad, an Android tablet, a smartphone (running Android version 3.2 or higher), or an iPhone. Scan2Pad can be used to process scan jobs offline and/or avoid the cloud, with complete scanner control via the mobile device. Print quality copies of scans wirelessly or mail directly from the App. Scan2Pad is available free of charge at the iTunes store. The Android version of Scan2Pad is available free of charge at the Google Play Store.

The large, edge to edge, 21 inch touchscreen with arm is mounted to the WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 large format scanner and enables direct operation without an external PC. Ideally suited for effective post-scan image previewing, the 21″ Touch monitor features 16:9 full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution, a 3,000:1 high contrast ratio, a wide (178º/178º) viewing angle, sound feedback, and intuitive touch controls for most of the scanner’s functionality via ScanWizard and PrintWizard included with Scan2Net firmware.

The WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 large format scanner has an integrated stand for mounting on top of the Canon TM 300 Series printer, delivering the smallest footprint for a multi function scan and print solution. For convenience, a USB port for data storage is located on the front of the scanner.

The WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 Large Format Scanner features an optical resolution of 1200 x 1200dpi and scans up to 36 inches/915 mm with a maximum media width up to 38 inches/965 mm. The WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 Large Format Scanner accepts media up to 0.1 inches (2.5mm) thick. . The WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 Large Format Scanner has a colour depth of 48-bit colour, and 16-bit grayscale and has a scan output of 24-bit colour, 8-bit grayscale, bitonal and enhanced halftone.

The WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 scans 10 inches/25.4 cm per second at 200 dpi in full colour. At the full width of 36 inches/915 mm and at 600 dpi, the WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 cans at 1.7 inches/4.3 cm per second.

The WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 features 3 x Canon CIS modules, for a total of 22,389 pixels. The instant-on, bi-directional RGB LED illumination is encapsulated, and dust-proof. The durable, anti-static stainless steel and glass paper path enable face up scanning with rear of front exit . The paper path has a unique 4-wheel drive system for the most gentle paper transport possible. The WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 is a center feed with automatic size and position detection and also supports right side feed with a guide, enable fast, fiddle-free scanning. Additionally, there are configurable scan templates and target templates for convenience. The absence of plastic parts eliminates static electricity and early wear and tear, and makes cleaning as simple as possible.

WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 Large Format Scanner features virtual rescan technology, allowing the modification of images without rescanning. All scan parameters including automatic crop and deskew, can be changed on the fly, and the results appear instantly on the 21″ touch preview screen attached directly to the scanner.

The WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 supports colour management workflows and can capture a colour gamut that far exceeds the sRGB colour spaces, used as an industry recognised standard. ICC profiles are embedded for SRGB, Adobe RBD and native and exceeds FADGI guidelines and meet ISO 19264-1 standards. Individual profiling is available via a web-based Scan2ICC subscription.

Optional accessories for the WideTEK 36CL-600-MF5 large format scanner include an elevated Stand Alone Floor Stand with Catch Basket. Optional software includes Scan2OCR, Scan2ICC, and Scan2Pad. Scan2OCR provides background text recognition during the scan job, Scan2ICC is a web-based subscription for ICC colour management and profiles, and Scan2Pad enables operation via a tablet, smart phone or other mobile device.
