Hi Alistair. Things like CAD plotters expire only at the worst possible time, but thanks to Barrie we were back in full operation the following day. It is nice to deal with a company who can move quickly when necessary. She was extremely helpful and understanding, she answered all my questions clearly and concisely and sent me information about the Designjet T520 ePrinter, immediately upon request. Julie also discussed paper and inks and sent me prices for these, from which I ordered paper as well.

I have had a call and email from Bobbie Scott, introducing herself as my Account Manager for future requirements and will contact her, as and when I am in need of further supplies.

As far as the printer is concerned, I am very pleased with it and if it continues as it has started, I will be more than happy!

I have always thought that Service from Suppliers is of the utmost importance; unfortunately, so many organisations don't seem to see it this way, or don't train their staff in the importance of Good Service. My printer turned up exactly on time with the paper and spare ink the next day so great service.

I had also ordered a 5m usb cable for this printer which unfortunately didt show up.

In any case I emailed on of your guys and despite being in Germany on business replied and passed my request (usb cable) onto a colleague. This colleague (after trying to find out what had happened to the cable that had been shipped but not received), posted me one that same day which I received today (the next day) - so situation well recovered.

Hence I appreciate that some things can go adrift which can be beyond your control and due to the manner your staff recovered the situation I am still more than happy with the service received and would have no qualms placing future orders should the need arise.

I would like to complement the guys involved as all have been professional, courteous and extremely helpful and knowledgeable - which I suppose should be expected but is certainly not always the case with many companies today.

I have in fact been meaning to send a message any way, so thank you for the reminder. I have quoted your company to several of my colleagues, since I have to say how impressed I have been by your service.

Perhaps made slightly easier by my desperately needing a new machine and being in the mood to buy without too much haggling or consideration, but he identified the correct machine for me, arranged delivery for the next day, my old machine was picked up on time, and the paper was delivered all within just a couple of days.

I was very impressed, particularly as I had simply Googled large format plan printers and yours was the first and only company that I contacted.

There are plenty of times when attempting to buy from the Internet can be trying, but in this case, I was very impressed and will be back to you for consumables and to satisfy any future printing requirements.

Out of 10, it has to be 9.5. Half a point dropped for not being originally advised of a 50 delivery charge, but my wife (and business partner) is apparently happy to revise that back upwards upon receipt of the champagne.

I would just like to say how pleased I am with the service I have received from Design Supply and mostly Simon for his help, I have never owned a huge printer before and he advised as to my needs and once the sale was completed even phoned to make sure I had received my new Canon printer and was satisfied with it.
